AMSOIL Dealers that own retailer and installer businesses can get listed on the AMSOIL.com Locator
Independent AMSOIL Dealers are able to resell AMSOIL products to customers directly. Many times an AMSOIL Dealer may also own another business that does repairs or has other products for sale. While being an AMSOIL dealer has it’s rewards, working another business along side the business opportunity can be extremely profitable.
All AMSOIL Dealers can be listed on the AMSOIL.com Locator under the Independent Dealer category if they meet the current criteria of being customer certified and have gained the appropriate new qualified customers (new dealers need 2 new customers for the first 2 years, then 4 new customers a year thereafter.) When an AMSOIL Dealer becomes customer certified they can also received assigned new customers directly from AMSOIL. These are customers that came to AMSOIL.com and purchased products without a sponsoring dealer. All customers that purchase AMSOIL must be assigned to a dealer. This feature is unique in the direct sales / home based business industry.
AMSOIL Dealers with retailer or installer businesses
As an AMSOIL Dealer that owns a business they have the option of registering their business with AMSOIL to be listed on the “Find AMSOIL Near Me” locator available on AMSOIL.com. The AMSOIL Dealer must fill out a form and meet certain criteria. Once they are approved they will need to go into their dealers zone and manage / update their listing to include business hours and the products they sell/install.
Below is the current information in order for an AMSOIL Dealer to be listed as a retailer/installer:
Dealers Who Want To Be Listed As Retail/Installer:
The AMSOIL Installer Locator at amsoil.com is designed to help prospects find local businesses that install AMSOIL products. AMSOIL Dealers who operate retail businesses that install AMSOIL products may be eligible for the Installer Locator if the business meets similar requirements as AMSOIL retail accounts:
- Have a storefront with public access
- Be open to the public with regular business hours
- Sell and install associated products at retail prices
- Have a business telephone number, website and/or other promotional materials to support the existence of a full-time retail/installation business
- Maintain the same account product purchase requirements as AMSOIL retail accounts, or earn a minimum of $25 in AMSOIL commissions in the previous six months
If you would like to apply to have your Dealership appear as an installer on the locator, click on the Installer Locator Application (available in your AMSOIL Dealers Zone under Retail Business tools/Retail Locator Administration. Follow the instructions to provide the necessary information to AMSOIL INC.
AMSOIL Dealers that wish to be listed must also qualify their business with AMSOIL Product Purchases. See Below:
Eligibility Guidelines Please review the information AMSOIL has on file for each of the accounts listed here.
Retailers and service centers must meet any of the following purchase requirements to remain active on the AMSOIL Locator at www.amsoil.com:
US Accounts:
- $400 in the previous 3 months
- $800 in the previous 6 months
- $1,200 in the previous 9 months
- $1,600 in the previous 12 months
Canadian Accounts:
- $450 in the previous 3 months
- $900 in the previous 6 months
- $1,350 in the previous 9 months
- $1,800 in the previous 12 months
Products must have shipped in order to be included in the purchase requirement. Qualifying purchases include products that are sold on the shelf or installed in consumer applications. Purchases of literature and promotional items, tax, shipping, etc., do not count toward the purchase requirements. The following product types apply to an account’s qualifying purchase:
Motor Oil – Diesel Oil – Oil Filters – Two-Stroke Oil – Transmission Fluid – Gear Lube – Motorcycle Oil – Four-Stroke Oil – Fuel Additives – Grease – Air Filters – Antifreeze/Coolant – WIX Filters – Compressor Oil (quarts only)
