New Retail Account Spending Threshold for AMSOIL Locator

In October 2024, AMSOIL Inc. updated the minimum annual spending requirement for AMSOIL installer accounts to be featured on the AMSOIL Locator at AMSOIL.com/AMSOIL.ca to $3,500/yr. To create consistency between our programs, this minimum annual spending threshold of $3,500 now also applies to all AMSOIL retail accounts.
This spending requirement is based on a rolling calendar. To be featured on the Locator, a retailer/installer account must meet one of the following spending levels within the previous 12 months:
$875 in the previous three months.
$1,750 in the previous six months.
$2,625 in the previous nine months.
$3,500 in the previous 12 months.
AMSOIL Dealers can check to see if their accounts are eligible to be featured on the Locator by using the Retail Locator Administration tool located in the Dealer Zone under the Retail Business Tools section. Dealers can also check to make sure all the correct location info is accurate as well as add additional locations if an account has more than one.
The official AMSOIL “Find AMSOIL Near You” locator is a premium, curated listing available to all registered retailers and installers. To be included, a business must be an authorized AMSOIL Dealer or Installer and meet the company’s annual purchase requirement, which is currently $3,500 in product purchases per year. This ensures the businesses listed are significant, active partners in the AMSOIL network.
The “AMSOIL Buy Local Directory” is hosted by Independent AMSOIL Dealer, Michael and Alecia Sparks. This listing service does not have any purchasing requirements from AMSOIL Inc. Any business working with Michael & Alecia or one of their team request to be listed, regardless of their sales volume or official authorization status with AMSOIL.
We are full time AMSOIL Dealers and work with Retailers, Installers and Dealers across the United States and Canada. Our goal is to help our accounts sell more AMSOIL locally either through their shop or retail store. Q. Why doesn’t the AMSOIL Buy Local have requirements to be listed?
A. As full time AMSOIL Dealers since 2000. We know what it takes to work with Retailers and Installers. Starting out with a new product line takes time and commitment. Over time we can expect many of our retailers to have to problem hitting the sales goals to be listed on AMSOIL.com Locator. But newer customers and many smaller shops like lawn mower repair, single owner powersports and even gun stores that sell our gun lubricants can have a hard time selling enough. We want to help your business grow. Our only requirement is that you be a registered AMSOIL account with us or one of our team members and that you are willing to help customers get the AMSOIL products they are looking for.
Q. I currently have a registered business account with AMSOIL, can I be listed?
A. Only retailers and installers that are registered with us or one of our team members can have a free listing on our AMSOIL Buy Local Directory. AMSOIL products are sold through a network of Independent Dealers that have the ability to register businesses to sell and install AMSOIL products. AMSOIL Dealers do not have territories, but they do have account protection. Registered AMSOIL Businesses are assigned to Independent Dealers. If you wish to be listed, contact your servicing dealer they may be able to help you.
Q. I want to become an AMSOIL Dealer, can I list myself and the Retailers that I work with?
A. AMSOIL Dealers that work with us can list themselves as well as any retailers they are working with.
